THE NEW RAY OF HOPE IN POLITICS
In the era when politics is gradually losing its autonomy, the Delhi assembly elections have become really very interesting and people expect its results to have certainly a marked impact on the long term politics of the country. Undeniably, democracy is an open system of governance endowed with a self-evolutionary and self-corrective ability. Media as part of civil society in democracy is expected to play the role of an effective conduit between state and the society.
The spirit of "Fear none, spare none and favour none" is the only thing that can incessantly purge the political culture. The dynamic voters of Delhi are in the mood to show courageous political will and prudence. kejriwal has become politically mature enough to give a new dimension to politics in the corrupt, confused and opportunistic scenario of dual politics and hybridised policy by denying the unconditional support of Bukhari who has been infamous for his communal appeal and credentials. Undoubtedly, this rhythm can be expected in the coming concert of poor politics.
Indeed, Indian democracy is like the Ganges' water which has self-purifying attribute. I hope, the guileless nature of our political system will get refined more and more in the coming days and the largest, successful and sustainable democracy of the world will move forward towards perfection by getting rid of all its dirt and keeping its soul untainted.
